TGEOWA Defaulter's List and Applicable Penalties

This is to bring to your notice that 52 members out of 64 have paid the initial Rs. 10,000/- in lieu of advance maintenance, membership fees and contingency funds.

As you have not paid your part till today so the Association doesn't have any option than to impose penalty on the pending amount.

Here is the excerpts from Bye Laws.

In addition to the recovery of arrears, the association is entitled to charge a Penalty of Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) per month till 6th Month and Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred Only) per month since beginning Post 6th Month onward to the defaulting member.  The Penalty is to be charged from the 15th day after the due date. Non-payment of Penalty due shall also be taken as arrears along with other amounts due to the society from the defaulting member.

Kindly note, any owners willing to sell their flat has to take "No Dues Certificate" from Association. So do not hold on till the time you sell it. The arrears will get accumulated along with penalties.
